William R. Roundy, of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, Nov. 11. He was 90.
He was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Queens, N.Y., the son of the late William and Catherine Roundy. A World War II Navy veteran, he worked for Walbaum's in Queens as a manager. He will be remembered by his family as liking fishing, hunting and camping; he also had a heartfelt love for aviation.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher Roundy and his wife Donna and Richard Roundy and his wife Sarah; and grandchildren, Bryan, Kevin, Ella and Willow.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy.
Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wm. G. Miller & Son Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
